Inspiring Italy for incredible incentive travel and memorable events

Target Motivation is a Destination Management Company (DMC) in Italy with offices in Rome, Milan, Venice and Florence. Operating since 1985, we specialise in MICE business and events throughout Italy. We use a tried and tested formula for organising the 1000+ successful events we carry out each year.

Our team of local expert travel managers create memorable corporate conferences and association meetings for your delegates in iconic cities and destinations. We co-ordinate everything from site inspections, spousal programmes, AV, classical entertainment, themes and decor for gala dinners, transportation, hotel negotiation, private guides and team building activities. We also do product launches, trade fair set-ups, graphic design, digital communication and green events.

As one of Italy’s largest DMCs and event management companies, we have excellent purchasing power and relationships with our suppliers throughout the country.

Italy has many inspirational destinations to reward your incentive travel winners from the historic cities of Rome, Venice, Milan and Florence to the coastlines of the Italian Riviera and the dramatic island of Sicily. Historical palaces are used for gala dinners and team building activities include cooking classes and driving classical Italian cars through Tuscany.

Italy FAQ

The local currency in Italy is the Euro (EUR). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in most hotels, restaurants, shops, and attractions, particularly in cities and tourist areas. Major cards such as Visa and Mastercard are commonly used.
Travellers from the UK, United States, and Australia do not need a visa to visit Italy for short stays. Italy is part of the Schengen Area, which allows visitors to stay for up to 90 days within any 180 day period for tourism, business, or family visits without a visa. Travellers from other countries may have different visa requirements, so it is recommended to check with the relevant embassy or official government website before planning your trip.
There are currently no compulsory vaccinations or health certificates required to enter Italy for most travellers.
Italy is generally safe for solo travellers, including women. Major cities like Rome, Florence, Milan, and Venice are well developed for tourism, with good public transport, accommodations, and services. Most visits are trouble-free, though petty crime such as pickpocketing can occur, especially in crowded areas, tourist attractions, and public transport.
