From December to March, the weather is hotter and more humid, with a higher chance of tropical rain showers, although these are often short lived. This is still a good time to travel if you do not mind occasional rain and want lush, green scenery. For the best overall balance of sunshine, calm waters and comfortable conditions, aim for April to May or October to November.
