Spanish Agents Discover Hidden Gems in Sri Lanka
In May 2023, a group of 16 agents from Spain embarked on a memorable journey to Sri Lanka, unearthing the nation’s hidden gems. Their comprehensive FAM trip was organized by Sri Lanka Express. It included diverse destinations, including Colombo, the Cultural Triangle, Sigiriya Lion Rock, Dambulla Cave Temple, Minneriya National Park with its large herds of Asian elephant, and the ancient city of Kandy. The trip was marked by thrilling Tuk-Tuk adventures, spice and tea plantation tours, a Kandyan cultural show, and fun cycling tours. The agents concluded their Sri Lankan escapade with a short flight to the Maldives for a well-deserved beach break.
Exploring the Southern Shores: Corporate Incentive Group
Another group, this time a corporate incentive gathering from Eastern Europe, headed for Sri Lanka’s southern beaches. Staying at the Bentota Beach resort, the participants soaked up the local coastal charm and had a go at surfing. Their itinerary included a Jeep safari in the Kumana National Park, private catamaran charters for idyllic sunset party cruises, and whale and dolphin watching experiences. A highlight of their journey was the visit to the Galle Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where they learnt about the culture and history of Sri Lanka.
