Sailing on grass – only in Poland!

The Elbląg Canal, 80.5km long, was opened in 1860 and is one of the  7 Wonders of Poland. The canal can accommodate smaller boats with up to 60 passengers on board.

The difference in water levels is close to 100 meters and is overcome using locks and a remarkable system of tracks on the grass connecting the beautiful lakes. It runs southward from Lake Drużno to the river Drwęca and lake Jeziorak.

Cruise vessels are modern with a guided service and catering on board can be provided. Private charters are also available for corporate incentives or tour groups. Spend a few wonderful hours admiring the Polish countryside,  human endeavor and engineering ingenuity Your cruise starts just an hour and a half drive from Gdansk Airport. Let our DMC in Poland make all the arrangements for this unusual group cruising opportunity.
